Question
Where was Moosa (Moses), may Allaah exalt his mention, when Allaah The Almighty called him? Are the Children of Israa’eel Arabs?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and messenger.
Allaah The Almighty revealed to Moosa 
the message when he passed by the sacred valley of Tuwa. Allaah The Almighty Says (what means): {And has the story of Moses reached you? - When he saw a fire and said to his family, "Stay here; indeed, I have perceived a fire; perhaps I can bring you a torch or find at the fire some guidance." And when he came to it, he was called, "O Moses, Indeed, I am your Lord, so remove your sandals. Indeed, you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa. And I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed [to you].} [Quran 20:9-13]
The Children of Israa’eel are the children of Is-Haaq (Isaac) and they are not Arabs.
