I have a few questions , I was asked by and I didn’t had answer 1.does Allah has a purpose or he purposeless ?
2.And as we write down the Quran physically so does that mean it is the physical attribute of Allah ?
3.is the word “Tawheed” created or uncreated
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
We thank you for writing to us. Such strange questions are usually posed by people who raise misconceptions (about Islam). Therefore, we advise you to avoid their discussions and their company in order to spare yourself any confusion which could eventually lead to deviation and misguidance.
There are specialized websites for discussing and refuting such misconceptions in detail. As for our website, it is specialized in giving prompt answers to the people who need Fataawa regarding acts of worship, lawful transactions, and Islamic creed as well as other topics related to Fatwa and Sharee‘ah rulings.
Moreover, translation would be a major obstacle to addressing such issues.
It is sufficient for you to know that the Noble Quran is the Speech of Allah which He revealed, and according to the consensus of the Companions and the Imams of the righteous predecessors after them, it was not created. As for the paper and ink used in writing the Noble Quran, they are created. These satanic attempts to cause confusion by raising misconceptions about such a subsidiary issue are actually one of the old methods used by the innovators in religion.
The statement of Tawheed: “La Ilaaha illa Allah (none is worthy of worship but Allah)” is part of the Noble Quran and is undoubtedly not created!
As for your question about the ‘purpose’, we do not know what you exactly mean by it, but the term ‘purpose’ was not used in the Sharee‘ah texts in reference to Allah, The Exalted, as far as we know. What was used in reference to Allah, The Exalted, is ‘Will’ and the verbs relevant to it, like ‘wills’, ‘intends’, and ‘wants’, as in the following examples: Allah, The Almighty, Says (what means):
· {Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship.} [Quran 2:185]
· {Allah wants to make clear to you [the lawful from the unlawful] and guide you to the [good] practices of those before you and to accept your repentance. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.} [Quran 4:26]
· {Allah wants to accept your repentance, but those who follow [their] passions want you to digress [into] a great deviation.} [Quran 4:27]
· {And Allah wants to lighten for you [your difficulties]; and mankind was created weak.} [Quran 4:28]
There are many other verses that used such terms in reference to Allah, The Exalted. Verily, He is The All-Wise, The Effecter of what He Wills.
Allah Knows best.
