Assalaamu alaykum. I am from Bangladesh. We all know that, recently, the Myanmar army and the radical Buddhists have again started to persecute the Rohiynga Muslims. However, the government of Bangladesh is not allowing them into our country. My question is, what should we do now? May Allah reward you.
All perfect praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.
Firstly, we implore Allah to relieve the distress of Muslims everywhere. It is incumbent on each and every Muslim to help his persecuted, oppressed fellow Muslims to the best of his ability. What we know is that many of them are able to enter your country; you shall be rewarded for sheltering them and helping to ease their distress. If they are prevented from entering your country, you should address your government and try to pressure it with legal and lawful means to allow them to enter. You should also strive in helping them to the best of your abilities by raising funds and donations for them, and it is Allah whom we implore to relieve the distress of the Muslims.
Allah knows best.
