Question
What are the minor and major signs of the Hour? Would you please mention them according to the chronological order that they will occur?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and messenger.
There are many minor and major Signs of the Final Hour and we have previously mentioned some of them in Fatwa 82276.
There is no authentic Hadeeth specifying the chronological order of all the Signs. However, there are some narrations that specify the sequence of some of them; such as the advent of the Antichrist, then the descent of ‘Eesa (Jesus) 
who will kill the Antichrist, followed by the emergence of Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj (Gog and Magog), and the last Sign is the rising of the sun from the west. None of these major Signs has yet occurred.
