Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may his blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.
Dear Sheikh, I would be very grateful to you if you could answer my two questions for which I shall be very grateful to you.
My First Question is that if a person goes to perform Umrah or Hajj and passes away in Masjid Al-Haram while performing tawaf or praying in Haram and also while praying in Masjid Al Nabwi (our beloved prophet Muhammad sws mosque in Medina) or when he is reciting quran or praying near Rauza-a-Rasool (grave of our prophet Muhammad sws) – Will the person be going to Heaven without any questioning by Munkar, Nakhir because the person has passed away in the most holiest place.
My second question is during the day of judgment When the sunshine is folded up, And when the stars fall off, And when the mountains are made to move, And when the pregnant she camels are abandoned, And when the beasts are gathered together, And when the seas are kindled, And when the souls are paired, And when the female buried alive is questioned about for what crime was she killed ?, And when the sheets of actions are opened, And when the heaven is taken off from its place, And when the Hell is caused to flare up, And when the Paradise is brought, near, (Then) each soul shall know what it has brought forward and when the earth is completely broken into pieces, And the Command of your Lord comes and also the angels in rows after rows, And Hell is brought that day, on that day man will think, but now where is the time for thinking?.
Will Masjid Al-Haram (Kaabah) & Masjid Al Nabwi (our beloved prophet Muhammad sws mosque in Medina) be destroyed on the day of Judgement ??
May Allah bless you will more knowledge, health, wealth and prosperity.
Jazakaallahu Khaira
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
Undoubtedly, dying while performing one of the acts you mentioned is a sign of a good end to this life, and it is hoped that whoever dies while doing the above acts will be admitted to Paradise. Indeed, the Prophet informed us that a person who will enter Paradise will die upon performing one of the acts of the people of Paradise (acts of obedience which please Allaah).
However, we cannot positively assert that whoever dies while performing those acts will enter Paradise, or that he will not be questioned in the grave. Also, we are not aware of any evidence from The Book of Allaah or the Sunnah of the Prophet that whoever dies while performing any of the acts you mentioned in the question, will enter Paradise without being questioned in the grave.
As regards whether or not Al-Haram mosque in Makkah and the Prophet's mosque in Madeenah will be demolished on The Day of Resurrection, then you should know that The Day of Judgment is a great event and that all the earth will be changed on that Day. Allaah Says (what means): {[It will be] on the Day the earth will be replaced by another earth,…}[Quran 14:48] This means that the face of the earth will be changed: the hills and mountains will be made flat, and the earth will be extended, and nothing will remain on it, neither the Haram mosque in Makkah nor the Madeenah mosque, nor anything else.
