Why Abu Bakr and 'Umar were buried beside the Prophet, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam

The mosque of the Prophet was not built on the grave
The Mosque of the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, in Al-Madeenah Al-Munawwarah contains the grave of the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, Abu Bakr and ‘Umar, may Allaah be Pleased with them. Reward for praying in the two Holy Mosques and the Mosque of Qubaa’
