In Sri Lanka, Islam is growing very fast and by the time problems also raising between parties in Muslim community. My question is covering the head. In Sri Lanka 99% Muslims are covering the head while praying and 50% are also in full time I am also. Is it Sunnah? I think so. What is your Fatwa? I have seen 62 Ahadith which describe covering head.

I have been wearing cap in every Salat (prayer) and doing Du'a after every Salat from my childhood, although i do not consider that it is obligation, but some days ago I met somebody they told me that it is Bid'at, and every Bid'at is prohibited in Islam. I am working in a private company whose owners are non-believers. Hence to do my prayers in time, especially the Salah of Asr and Maghrib, there is no facility to perform these prayers in time.
