A Palestinian man was killed and 28 others, including an Anadolu Agency staffer were injured during a clash between Israeli soldiers and protesters in Gaza late Friday, local sources said.
Israeli soldiers used live rounds, rubber bullets and teargas on hundreds of Palestinians at the protest.
Hani Rafiq Vahdan, 22, died when he received a gunshot wound to his head. Anadolu Agency staff member Fati al-Katati is among the injured; a bullet piece hit his knee.
Katati is under treatment at a hospital.
According to Palestinian Health Ministry, 125 people, including 25 children have been killed and 5,090 others wounded in Israeli attacks in Gaza and West Bank since early October.
