All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
First of all, all perfect praise be to Allaah, Who guided you to Islam and we ask Him to make you firm and steadfast on His Religion until the day you meet Him.
As regards your first question, if the husband does not inform his family about his marriage, then this does not affect the validity of his marriage, and there is no difference of opinion among the scholars about this. However, it is more appropriate for him to inform them as a sign of being kind and dutiful to his parents and keeping a good relationship with other relatives.
With regard to the second question, we have already issued Fatwa 87397 clarifying that the husband does not have the right to prevent his wife from having children without a sound reason, so please refer to the above referred Fatwa.
