All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.
We have already issued many Fataawa on Ruqyah, so please refer to them, they are as follows: 81667, 81643 and 81559. Therefore, you may perform Ruqyah on you and your family while having full trust in Allaah, and supplicating Him as much as possible to repel any harm from you.
Finally, the following two matters should be mentioned:
1- It is very dangerous to go to magicians and fortune-tellers and other people who pretend to know the unseen. Moreover, they do not treat people with religious Ruqyah, and it is also very dangerous to believe in what they say. Please refer to Fatwa 85109 on the ruling of going to the magicians in order to find out whether or not one is affected by magic, and Fatwa 87538 about fortune-telling.
2- You have to be cautious about accusing specific people of having done magic to you just because a Shaykh said this about them, as this is bad suspicion. Allaah Says (which means): {O you who have believed, avoid much [negative] assumption. Indeed, some assumption is sin.}[Quran 49:12]. Moreover, the Prophet said: "Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the worst of false tales." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]
Allaah Knows best.
