All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.
If your family are still disobedient and persist in their sin, then your husband is right, and you are obliged to obey him as he will be questioned about you. He is the one who preserves your interests, and this is because the husband is a protector and provider for his wife. Allaah Says (what means): {Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allaah has made one of them to excel the other, and because they spend (to support them) from their means.}[Quran 4:34]. So, you have no right to disobey him and go to visit them, but you should take into consideration his motives.
However, if they repented from that and they became righteous then it is more appropriate for your husband not to prevent you from visiting them, especially if one or both of your parents are alive. You should try to explain to him that whoever repents from sin is like the one who has not committed any sins, and that Allaah Says (what means): {Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning] do not despair of the mercy of Allaah. Indeed, Allaah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."}[Quran 39:53].
Finally we ask Allaah to accept your repentance and greatly reward you on being steadfast on the truth and avoiding what Allaah has prohibited.
May Allaah enable us to do whatever He likes and He is pleased with.
Allaah Knows best.
