Became involved with a married woman who likes him and he can't seem to find a way out

Question:
I met a woman from work who has 3 kids and is separated from her husband. She would always try to get my attention because she was attracted to me. I took advantage of the opportunity and started to talk to her about Islam. She was very open-minded and wanted to learn about the religion. I gave her a ride home a few times because it was dark and I didn't want for her to take the bus. We exchanged phone numbers ever since and we still occasionally talk but not always about Islam. I tried to get a Muslim sister to talk to her but she never is able to reach her while she is at home. I know this woman still likes me but I know that my parents would never approve of us ever getting together because she was already married and with kids. I have thought many times to just end the relationship that we currently have by telling her that I didn't want to talk to her anymore because of religious reasons but I am afraid she will take it the wrong way and misunderstand Islam and Muslims. What do you recommend for me to do?
Answer:
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.
We congratulate you on your adherence to the Islamic rulings in your day-to-day life. In fact, a Muslim should take the matter of his religion very seriously since he will be held accountable for his every deed.
We advise you to end your relationship with this woman since it leads to much harm and strengthens Satan against you. Islam does not allow you to have any such relationship with a marriageable woman. For details please read Fatwa: 84281.
You may convey the message of Islam through cassettes and Islamic literature or refer her to an Islamic center to attend to her concerns.
We do not advise you to marry any woman against your parents' wishes. Parents have great rights on their children. For more details read our Fatwa: 83379.
Before getting married you have to avoid mixing or having relations with marriageable women.
Allaah knows best.
