Disturbed by misleading website

Question:

Recently I read a website which disturbed me much. I am very much worried that our Muslim brothers have not put an answer to the site.

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.

May Allah reward you for your zeal on the religion of Islam and about your keenness to defend it. This matter is required from every Muslim according to his/her ability.

However, to defend Islam, one has first to be equipped with the knowledge of Shariah lest he will be affected by the misconceptions of the prejudiced people against Islam. Besides, a person can fail when debating with the enemies of Islam, and his failure will not be taken as a personal failure, but rather as a failure of the methodology that he is defending.

Therefore, we advise you not to be preoccupied with responding to these people, and also not to put yourself in the dock by refuting accusations. Our religion is the only true religion. It does not contain any contradiction or misconception. It is logical and straight. It is not like the trinity.

So, be proud of your religion and learn what benefits you. If you acquire enough religious knowledge that enables you to defend your religion and cast out the misconceptions about it to face the enemies of Islam, then do so.

May Allah enable us and you to do what pleases Him.
