Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.
If the substance that stimulates one's sexual appetite is of natural products such as special vegetables, fruits, herbs, leaves, etc., using it is permissible as long as it does not cause any considerable harm to one's body. If any material harms the body using the harmful material is forbidden. If the substance used for sexual desire is made of chemicals, such as tablets, drugs, creams or oils, the permissibility and prohibition of such material depends on whether it is beneficial or not. If there are side effects and these effects are known then using such drugs and materials is forbidden. Generally, such drugs tend to over stimulate the body causing it to react in unnatural ways that are harmful to it. Under the influence of such drugs the heart and circulatory system may be over stimulated leading to a heart attack or similar problems. Drugs which have negative side affects should be avoided. Therefore, based on the basic ruling of Shariah one should not cause harm to himself, so using such drugs is forbidden.
Allah knows best.
