Question:

Can you give some information about a group called Anjuman-e- Deendar in India, with full details and its very urgent because we got a match for our cousin, I will be grateful to you if you can provide the information ASAP.
Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

We searched about this group in the references available here, but we did not find anything about it. So, we cannot issue any Fatwa concerning this group. If the brother is able to give us details of their dogma and faith, we will be able to issue a ruling based on those facts. However, we advise you to consult Muslim scholars in India who are known for their knowledge of Shariah, and adherence to Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ).
