Buying and Selling Gold in a Jewellery Store

Question:

Is it halal when purchasing gold in a jewelry store, where the payment is made at a different counter/cashier with the gold handover counter?
Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad,   sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) , is His slave and Messenger.

The purchase of gold in the manner described is valid, as long as delivery and possession take place within the same session of the contract. Furthermore, there is no issue with receiving the gold at one counter and paying the amount at another, since the contractual session is considered one, even if the individuals involved differ.
