Question:
السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاتهI learning to code. الحمد لله Should I write the basmala as the opening text of the program, e.g. when you open a software usually it shows you the logo of the company and then the software starts, I want to write the basmala on top of the logo (maybe in english transliteration and translation because Arabic text with not be supported by the computer). Also I want to write it as the 1st piece of code I write then I will write the code of the program (this will not be visible to the users). What do you think? Will I be rewarded?
Answer:
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
You do not have to write the Basmalah (i.e., Bismillaah Ar-Rahmaan Ar-Raheem) as an opening slogan.
However, if you want to write it on top of the logo, and so on, as a reminder so that the users would mention Allah Almighty, then this is good, and it is hoped that you will be rewarded for that -Allah willing.
Allah knows best.
