Woman asking Allah to guide man and make him her husband

Question:
Assalaamu alaykum. Sorry, I am disturbing you again. I know that you have answered my question previously, but some points are not clear to me, which is why I am repeating my problem. I love a boy. He is not really a practicing Muslim, and he is in a relationship with another girl. I also do not have any way to send him a marriage proposal. I do not have any affair with him. Even though he is in a relationship with another girl, I find his character to be really good. I firmly believe that he could be a really good husband if he were to start practicing Islam properly. My question is: can I ask Allah to guide him and somehow make him my husband if he is good for me. Can I pray Istikhaarah (guidance-seeking prayer) even though I know that he has a girlfriend. There is another thing which is bothering me: can I ask Allah for his guidance first and then for him to be my husband? It is said that we should supplicate for ourselves first, so can I ask for his guidance first and then for him to be my husband? Please reply to me as soon as possible. Sorry for bothering again. May Allah reward you.
Answer:
All perfect praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
There is nothing wrong for you to supplicate Allah to guide this person and make you marry him if there is goodness for you in that. This does not contradict supplicating with goodness for yourself, because supplicating for oneself for goodness does not contradict supplicating for another person for guidance.
As regards the Istikhaarah, then this is done when one intends to do something or is about to do it; so if this person actually proposes to you, then in this case, it is permissible for you to perform the Istikhaarah.
We advise you to try to get rid of this feeling and engage yourself in what benefits you in your religion and your worldly matters and be satisfied with whatever Allah predestines for you, submitting yourself to the Will of Allah while knowing that whatever Allah predestines for you is good for you.
Allah knows best.
