Characteristics of good husband in Quran

Has Allah described the characteristics of the husband in the Quran?

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ʻalayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.

The Islamic Shariah guided us to choosing the righteous husband who is characterized by religiosity and good manners. The first and most fundamental criterion is religiosity. Allah, the Exalted, says (what means): {And do not marry polytheistic men [to your women] until they believe. And a believing slave is better than a polytheist, even though he might please you...} [Quran 2:221]

One of the best and most comprehensive descriptions of a good husband is that he lives with his wife in kindness. Allah, the Exalted, says (what means): {And live with them in kindness. For if you dislike them - perhaps you dislike a thing and Allah makes therein much good.} [Quran 4:19]
