This supplication has no source in Sunnah books

Question:

Hello there. I read in the Shia books that before the battle of Karbala, Hussein taught his son a supplication. So I wanted to ask if he really learned that supplication from the Prophet, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, and taught it to his son. The suppliction is: "Bihaqqi Yaseen wal Qur-aanil Hakeem wa bihaqqi Taa-Haa wal Qur-aanil ‘Adheem yaa man yaqdiru ‘alaa ‘hawaa-ijis-saa-ileen yaa man ya’lamu maa fid-dhameer yaa munaffisan ‘anil makroobeen yaa mufarrijan ‘anil maghmoomeen yaa raa-‘hima shaykhil kabeer yaa raaziqat tiflis-sagheer yaa man laa yahtaaju ilat-tafseer salli ‘alaa Muhammadin wa aali Muhammadin waf-‘al bee …(mention your wishes)

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.

After extensive research in the reliable books of the Sunnah that we have at hand, we have not come across this supplication, neither as an authentic narration, nor as a weak one.

We do not think that this supplication was said by the Prophet and not even by Al-Husayn .

There is no doubt that it is better to supplicate with the supplications mentioned in the Quran and the authentic Sunnah, as there is much goodness and blessings in them, and they are sufficient.
