All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
With regard to the first narration, it was reported by Ad-Daarimi in his book entitled “As-Sunan” as a statement from ‘Uthmaan Ibn ‘Affaan without attributing it to the Prophet . Husayn Asad, the reviser of the above book, clarified that this narration is Dha’eef [weak].
As regards the second Hadeeth, it was reported by Ahmad and At-Tirmithi from Ma’qil Ibn Yasaar but Shaykh Al-Albaani classified it as Dha’eef in his book entitled “Dha’eef Al-Jaami’ As-Sagheer”. Also, Ad-Daarimi reported it as a statement of Al-Hasan Al-Basri . Husayn Asad, the reviser of the above book, said: “Its chain of narration is Saheeh [sound] as a statement of Al-Hasan Al-Basri, without attributing it to the Prophet .
Concerning the Hadeeth about the virtues of the three verses from Chapter Ar-Room [Quran 30], it was reported by Abu Daawood from Ibn ‘Abbaas ; however, Shaykh Al-Albaani classified it as Dha’eef in his book entitled “Dha’eef Al-Jaami’ As-Sagheer” and in other books.
Regarding the last Hadeeth, it was reported by Al-Bazzaar from Anas attributing it to the Prophet but Shaykh Al-Albaani classified it as Dha’eef in his book entitled “Dha’eef Al-Jaami’ As-Sagheer”.
