A narrative indicating that a mosque cries because no one prays in it

Question:

In many speaches I heard people says that some people herad that masjid is crying (Those masjeed which are not in use) that no one is praying in them?What is authensity of these statements?is it corret to belive in these things

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger.

There is no evidence, to the best of our knowledge, in the Quran or the Sunnah indicating that the mosque cries because no one prays in it. Such matters require texts from the Quran or the Sunnah, since they could be known only through divine revelation.
