Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger.

First of all, you should know that there is no relation between the lunar phases and fertility as we have previously clarified in Fatwa 87674. If such an article is published in an Islamic website with the intention to show that it is invalid, there is no harm in that. But to publish it without rejecting its content is impermissible, since it implies acknowledgement of its content.

On the other hand, it is not fitting for a Muslim to enter astrology websites, even if it was just out of curiosity, given that simply entering them is not considered the same as to ask soothsayers and diviners. But, at the same time, entering those websites or searching one's birth date for the sake of asking about his/her fortune, is the same as asking soothsayers and diviners. Once one makes such an inquiry, he exposes himself to the risk of having his prayers not accepted for forty days, due to the Hadeeth of the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, where he said: “Whoever goes to a Diviner and asks him about anything, his prayers will not be accepted for forty nights.” [Muslim]

But to believe what one hears about his fortune told by such soothsayers is to expose oneself to the strong threat mentioned in the following Hadeeth: "Whoever goes to a soothsayer or a diviner and believes him in what he says, has indeed disbelieved in what was revealed upon Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam." [Ahmad and others]

Therefore, whoever falls in that sort of sin has to turn to Allaah in sincere repentance. For information about the conditions of repentance, see Fatwa 86527. For further benefit, see Fataawa 82923and 3790.

Allaah Knows best.
