Listening to Surah Al-Kahf before reciting it on Friday

Question:

Assalaamu alaikum,
Is it ok to listen to Surat Al-Kahf (on Fridays) then always reading it?

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

 

In our view, it is permissible to listen to Surah Al-Kahf [Quran 18] before reciting it on Friday as both listening and reciting the Quran are legislated acts of worship.
