Ihraam clothes becoming impure does not invalidate Ihraam

Question:
As Salaam Alaikum, I have a question about Ihram. My flight time to Jeddah is about 9 hours, so I'm planning to wear Ihram clothes before boarding the Airplane and when the flight comes close to Meeqat make Niya and enter into Ihram. If suppose for any reason during the flight the clothes of Ihram gets impure (maybe because of the toilets in plane are so small). Can I still make Niya with impure Ihram clothes and without Wadu. Also another case is if I make Niya and then my Ihram clothes becomes impure, is my Ihram still valid. In both the above cases can I change the clothes upon reaching my hotel in Makkah after taking a bath and then continue to Umrah? Jazaak Allah Khairan.
Answer:
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
The clothes of Ihraam becoming impure do not affect the validity of Ihraam. So, if your clothes become impure before entering the state of Ihraam or after it, your assuming the state of Ihraam does not become void and you are not obliged to perform ablution for it [for assuming the state of the Ihraam]. However, you are obliged to change the [Ihraam] clothes or purify them if they are stained by impurity before performing Tawaaf [circumambulation around the Ka’bah] because according to the most reliable opinion held by the scholars, it is not valid to perform Tawaaf with impure clothes.
