Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.

It is forbidden to establish an affectionate relationship with a non-Mahram woman, and whoever does so is obliged to repent; for more benefit, please refer to Fatwa 81356.

If the marriage fulfils the conditions of a correct marriage contract, the most important of which are the consent of the guardian and the presence of two witnesses, then it is a correct marriage. As regards not specifying the dowry, then this does not affect the validity of the marriage contract.

If we presume that you divorce this girl, she deserves the dowry of women of the same social status like her. For more benefit, please refer to Fatwa 104779.

As regards divorce, then this is something permissible if it becomes clear to you that this girl has not repented and is still attached to that man, in which case you should not keep her as a wife as she may disgrace you by bearing children from other men.

In any case, you should advise her to fear Allaah and avoid such a relationship. As regards the treatment for love sickness, then please refer to Fatwa 84544.

Finally, it should be noted that if a Muslim has committed a sin, he/she should conceal it as we clarified in Fatwa 84052.

Allaah Knows best.
