Syria bomb attack kills 20 of regime soldiers, Hezbollah militants

A bomb attack mounted on Wednesday on a military convoy of Assad regime soldiers and Hezbollah militants left 20 of them dead in Aleppo city of Syria.

According to the statement of Syria Information Center, Free Syrian Army (FSA) staged a bomb attack on a convoy carrying soldiers loyal to Assad regime as well as Hezbollah militants.

20 of the soldiers and militants were reported dead while some of the soldiers were held as captives.

Four ammunition-laden vehicles were destroyed in the attack ruining a 23-caliber artillery along with another four vehicles loaded with heavy machine gun.

Assad regime forces threw on Tuesday a barrel bomb to a mosque in Anadan town of Aleppo, near Turkish border, killing 12, most of whom were cildren and women, and wounding more than 50.

Syrian regime forces have been carrying out wide-scale military operations on northern suburbs of Aleppo, which are under FSA control.

In another incident on Wednesday, 6 people were killed and 19 wounded by a mortar shell in Damascus.

As Syrian state news agency SANA reported, a mortar shell stroke a coach in the Berze district of the Syrian capital of Damascus, leaving 6 dead and injuring 19 others.
