Spokesperson of Muslim Brotherhood Mohamed al-Beltagi stated that army chief and Defense Minister Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi would not be able to disperse the protests by using force, and might therefore tend toward executing massacre at certain intervals.
“I don't think Al-Sisi comprehends that dispersing protests by using force would fail and such a stance would spread the protests to all squares in Egypt,” al-Beltagi said.
He stated that al-Sisi might distort the protests by presenting them differently, and he might also execute massacres at certain intervals while limiting protestors from reaching their daily needs.
