ArticlesQuestion: My father has offered to me take on Hajj Insha Allah, next year, at the same time that my marriage proposal is scheduled. I want to perform Hajj with my father. Kindly help me to choose.
Fatwa: All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
is His slave and Messenger.Any mature (pubescent), sane and physically able Muslim should perform Hajj if he can afford the necessary costs for Hajj regardless of whether he is married or single. If there is an opposition between Hajj and marriage, then Hajj is given priority over marriage unless the person fears to commit Zina if he does not get married. In this case, marriage becomes obligatory and the person then marries before going on Hajj.
